hopping on the blog to quick post a sneak peek for riley and her parents :-)  this little cutie was so happy and a natural model.  we luuuuuuuv her!

on the ie home front...we are completely booked for october. we are scheduling sessions into november and december. we feel so incredibly blessed with just starting our new business and the feedback we are getting from all our clients.  blessed but busy .

our first expression session was a huge success! we are already almost completely booked for our "harvest town" theme in october. we have one spot on saturday october 23, 2010.  we are filling up fast for our "holiday wonderland" theme in november.  we will be posting some of our "country couch" expressions and will also be posting a preview of our "holiday wonderland" expression.

{nlhs friday night lights part 1}

we tried something new this weekend...a change of pace from the weddings we usually cover on the weekends.  naomi and i were not sure what to expect...we had some pretty big shoes to fill {mr p is an amazing sports photographer} when we got to the field...i started to get a little nervous....a couple of things were running through my head.....
are teenagers supposed to be that big?  these guys are going to move a lot faster then the pee-wee's i am used to shooting.... wow these guys are huge...they are going to crush my camera....i am going to have to protect naomi and her unborn child....

then the coach told me "do not let the refs touch you or we get a penalty"

on the surface i am cool "no they won't touch us we are pretty fast" ohmigoodness this is not good there is a reason i do not play organized sports....i am going to get crushed, get  the team a penalty....my husband coaching from the press box, the kids, my mom & joe, and pretty much the whole school district are going to watch....

but we did not get crushed :-)  we had so much fun...being on the sidelines was very exciting and it was hard not to get caught up in team spirit.  i made a quick slideshow of all the pictures we took.

{labor day}

labor day is here...and naomi and i can definately say in the past two weeks we have been laboring {is that a word?} 20 some sessions later....numb finger pads and sore eyes from intense editing....the life of a photographer is hardcore :-)  this is just a sample with more to come soon! happy picnicing ~niki

q. what is out of hand?

a.  couple of things i will enlighten you...

1st- anthony...see above...what else can i say?...he only said "this is out of  hand" 1200 times during our shoot.

2nd-  trying to get the size of these blog pictures right. {also out of hand}

3rd- naomi and i are booking incredibly fast since combining...we are booking regular sessions, seniors, and newborns into october, november, and december.   we are getting inquires for weddings left and right.  it is exciting and a little overwhelming while we are still getting all the business, marketing, and websites handled we are shooting a full schedule.  {totally out of hand}

we are loving it :-)
